About Drew Gann

Dr. Drew Gann, OD, MS, studied Biology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After receiving both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees, he received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama (UAB) School of Optometry. He is a member of the Alabama Optometric Association and a member of the American Optometric society.

Dr. Gann has been practicing optometry since 2019, before which he spent an additional year researching dry eye and teaching a dry eye course at the school. He went on to publish two scientific papers.

Dr. Gann and his wife currently live in Vestavia Hills with their son. On the weekends, he enjoys spending time with his family as well learning about finance and trading, playing video games, and an occasional round of golf.
