Jennifer Alverson, O.D.

Dr. Jennifer Alverson, OD, graduated from University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) School of Optometry with a Doctorate of Optometry Degree in 1998. Dr. Alverson has served on the Alabama Optometric Association’s Board of Directors. From 2003 to 2010 Dr. Alverson served as the InfantSEE State Leader for the American Optometric Association and was named Alabama Young Optometrist of the Year by her peers in 2004.

Dr. Alverson is currently an Assistant Professor at University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) School of Optometry where she serves as an Attending Optometric Physician in the Primary Care Clinic. Dr. Alverson is passionate about Optometry and strives to better the lives of her patients by providing them with the best vision possible through comprehensive medical eye care and quality frames lenses and contacts.
